Your movement serial number may not be in exactly the same location as the one in the photo, but you are looking for the serial number that is on the watch mechanism itself. You usually have to take the back off the watch case to see the movement serial number which may appear anywhere on the watch movement. This is the same case design as Winston Churchill's watch. The calibre 475 complicated calendar movement was manufactured by Movado from 1938 to 1954. Apologies if I am breaching forum rules.ġ940's Movado Triple-Date calendar watch with Breguet arabics dial and fancy "turtle" lugs, snapback case with calendar push buttons at 2:00 and 4:00, ribbed sides and fancy extended "turtle" lugs (42mm lug to lug), signed 15 jewel complicated calendar movement (calibre 475), outer date chapter ring, center day and month apertures, gold dagger hands, sweep seconds and arrow-tipped sweep date hand.
